three cheers for sweet revenge is my chemical romance's second album, &, in my opinion, also their best. the songs continue the story started by bullets, the story of a man, a woman, and a thousand evil men. the man and the woman are referred to as the demolition lovers. the demolition man died in a gunfight and went to hell. the devil claims that the demolition man can be with his lover (the demolition woman) again if he brings to him the souls of a thousand evil men. he agrees, and the devil hands him a gun.
